Health Officials Confirm 3rd Death in Michigan From Meningitis

Posted: Updated:

We now know Michigan has had at least 25 cases of a deadly form of Meningitis, including a 3rd death.

The Center for Disease Control says 13,000 people could have been exposed to a fungus.

The CDC says there has been 119 cases, including 11 deaths reported in 10 states.

The fungus was found in vials of a steroid used to treat back pain and other ailments.

Some of those were shipped to Neuromuscular and Rehabilitation Associates of Northern Michigan in Traverse City.

You should contact health professionals if you believe you have had one of the injections.
