Man Accused of Using Fake Money Now Faces Jail Time

A man who is accused of trying to pass off a counterfeit $100 bill in Antrim County was sentenced today, and faces fines and jail times.

Bradley Smith was arrested along with Eric Carson in June, after trying to pass off the fake money to the Northern Bear Country Store in Alba.

Smith is charged with counterfeiting, and will have to pay at least $700 in fines, serve 6 months in jail, and will face 2 years of probation.

Carson will be sentenced next month.
