Mecosta County Restaurant Thanks Community with Festival

Posted: Updated:

A Mecosta County restaurant said,"Thank You" to its local community yesterday, with what it called, their Third Annual Festival for the Community.

The Autumn's By The Lake Restaurant, in Chippewa Lake, donated 100% of its proceeds for the food cost, the Chippewa Lake Community Church, and the Chippewa Lake Lions Club.

There was plenty of family friendly festivities taking place for the event, including hay rides, line dancing, a smoked pig roast, and vendors selling baked goods and lawn ornaments.

The Owner of Autumn's By The Lake, David Vallette, said he hoped this year's attendance would break last year's record, of more than 2,000 people.
