Manistee County deputies are looking for the man who tried to rob a woman, who was leaving a local restaurant with the night's receipts late Saturday night.
Deputies say it happened shortly before midnight at the Bungalow Inn just south of the Manistee city limits.
The man tried to rob the woman as she was leaving with the money.
They say he sprayed her with self defense spray, and tried to take the night deposit from her.
But she resisted successfully, and the suspect fled on foot.
A K-9 tracked him to a nearby school, but he was not found.
Deputies say he was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt with a design or writing on the back.
Anyone with information should contact the Manistee County Sheriff's Office.
