Teen Earns Eagle Badge for Building Shed at Place That Helped Him As Child

A local boy builds shed to help a place that help him as a child.

Building the shed for the Crawford Ausable Daycare Center and Preschool earns 16-year-old Tyler Summer his Eagle Badge as a boy scout.

Tyler got all the materials and labor donated in order to build the $4,500 shed.

After weeks of work, representatives from pro-build and home depot were there today, for the official ribbon cutting ceremony.

Tyler Spent his childhood at the non-profit center and says he knew exactly where he wanted to do his Eagle Scout project.

The much needed shed holds tools, toys and paperwork, for the Crawford Ausable Daycare Center and Preschool.
