Miguel Cabrera wins Triple Crown

He did it.

Despite going 0-for-2 on Wednesday night, Miguel Cabrera became the first player since 1967 to win the Triple Crown.

Cabrera's final numbers:  .330 batting average, 44 home runs and 139 RBI.

Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels went 2-for-3 in his final game, finishing second in batting average at .326.

Former Tiger Curtis Granderson hit two home runs in the Yankees' finale against Boston to finish tied for second in homers with Josh Hamilton with 43.
