Search Continues for Lake County Escapees

Posted: Updated:

Police say Kenneth Grauman and Gregory Bradshaw broke free of the Lake County Residential Re-entry Program Saturday afternoon.

The inmates escaped from the facility in Baldwin and appear to be making their way south, they are not believed to be dangerous.

Since the escape, the pair have stolen three cars, crashing one of them.

They were last seen in the Sand Lake area in Montcalm County.

The program they ran from allows parole violators to atone for their mistake by housing them for 75 days.

The break out itself will land them in back in prison, but as the run from the law continues, their charges continue to rack up.

9&10's Eric Lloyd and photojournalist Jacob Johnson spoke with Sheriff Bob Hilts about the program and have more details.
