The Northern Lower Peninsula Deer Advisory Team has met two times now.
The group serves as an advisory team to the Wildlife Division of Deep Management with a goal of being a middleman between the DNR and public.
They hope to better education people on the concerns surrounding white-tailed deer, including the spread of Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease, or EHD.
The mild temperatures help the disease grow and it could continue to affect deer until a frost kills the disease-carrying bugs.
The group is open to public comments and you can contribute your thoughts or concerns by clicking the attached link.
