Make a Difference Days

Posted: Updated:

9&10 News Helping Hands and Farm Bureau Insurance, Michigan's Insurance Company, are proud to support Make a Difference Days Friday, October 12- Sunday, October 14 at the River House Shelter in Grayling. The River House Shelter provides safety and services to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and the homeless. The shelter serves Crawford, Ogemaw, Oscoda, and Roscommon counties with a 24 hour crisis line, emergency shelter, support groups, and much more.

From October 12-14 volunteers will make a difference to those at the shelter by helping with general maintenance, yard work, and organizing. Businesses or groups can even "adopt" one of the rooms at the shelter and decorate it. Please consider lending a hand to this important organization on Make a Difference Day!
