Local Traverse City Kids Benefit from Red Wings Not Coming

There may not be a Red Wings Training Camp in Traverse City this year, but some local youngsters gone some time with Red Wing personnel, they might not have had otherwise.
On Saturday, the Red Wings hosted a free youth clinic at Centre Ice.
It was for kids between the ages 7 and 14.
They had a chance to skate and learn from some of the Detroit coaches and former players, Chris Chelios and Chris Osgood.
The camp gave all the young players one hour of ice time instruction and 45 minutes of dry land training.
The International Transmission Company of Michigan sponsored the event.
Each child received a Red Wing jersey, presented by I.T.C.
