Central Michigan University is looking for ways to expand their campus.

The board of trustees met to discuss space needs Thursday.

They've put more than $114 Million into academic space in the past 7 years and now, they're working on the next big step for CMU.

Projects approved Thursday include, an addition to an academic building, renting off campus spaces and a new research wet lab, costing $7 Million.

They also approved tuition for the new College of Medicine...and they did it with Northern Michigan Students in mind.

College of Medicine tuition for Michigan residents will be nearly $34,000 a year.

Out of state tuition will be $67,000 a year.
