Feedback at 5:00- Operation Fast and Furious

Posted: Updated:

As we reported Wednesday on 9&10 News at 5:00, two high ranking justice department officials quit in the wake of the failed ATF gun smuggling operating known as "Operation Fast and Furious."

The department's internal watchdog issued a 471 page report looking into the operating and concluded that more than a dozen people should face disciplinary action for the plan.

"Fast and Furious" allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico in an attempt to find drug lords.

An American border agent was killed by one of the weapons.

For tonight's "Feedback at 5:00," what is your take on the operation?
