Police: Woman Pushed Out of Moving Vehicle During Carjacking

Posted: Updated:

Deputies say a woman is the victim of an early morning carjacking -- after two suspects pushed her out of a moving car.

It all started around two this morning when a woman picked up two male hitch-hikers near Plett and 13th Street in Wexford County's Selma Township.

Deputies say soon after, the suspects demanded money from the woman.

When she refused, the men ransacked her purse.

Deputies say the woman then slowed down, and one of the suspects leaned over, opened her door -- and pushed her out of the moving car.

Police later found the vehicle, crashed and abandoned near Camp Torenta.
