Allegan County Man Catches Record Black Buffalo

Allegan County man caught a state record fish on September 5th.

Bryan DeGoede from Kalamazoo was bowfishing in the Kalamazoo River when he caught the 37.4 pound black buffalo, and measured 39.3 inches.

The previous state record black buffalo was caught in Ottawa County in 2004 which weighed 33.25 pounds and was 36.5 inches long.
