Update: Protesters Storm U.S. Embassy in Yemen

Posted: Updated:

Speculation rises this morning that the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya was coordinated by terrorists to mark the anniversary of September 11th.

And this morning, there are reports of another embassy being attacked, this time in Yemen.

Tuesday, protesters stormed an embassy in Cairo.

And Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed when an armed mob stormed the Consulate in Benghazi Tuesday. The mob looted the building, then set it on fire.

Last night, protesters also angered by an American anti-Muslim film stormed the U.S. Embassy in Yemen and burned an American flag. So far there are no reports of injuries.

Now, 50 Marines are heading to Libya to reinforce security at the American Embassy in Tripoli.
