MTM On The Road: Coffee & Casting Along the Manistee River

Posted: Updated:

As the fall season approaches many anglers are anxious to get out on the water and land a big salmon.

Ben Wolfe is a Northern Michigan man who wears many hats. Charter captain, French chef, and now... coffee professional.

Wolfe created Deep Blue Coffee Company last year after realizing how badly his customers needed a great cup of coffee when they arrived for an early morning charter.

Today, Deep Blue has blends named "Cottage Morning," "Traverse City Bass" or "Great Lakes Blend' just to name a few.

Wolfe's mission is to "enhance morning hospitality."

Kalin and Stephanie joined Wolfe and his crew for a morning of casting and coffee along the Manistee River.
