Police Say Mt. Pleasant M.S.U./CMU Weekend Went Relatively Well

The big Mt. Pleasant M.S.U./CMU Weekend is over and Mt. Pleasant police say things went relatively well.
They say, unlike Welcome Weekend, where a lot happens in a small area, this event was spread over a couple days and a much larger area for a longer period of time.
Saturday, police say they issued 30 citations for minors in possession of alcohol and 45 for open intoxicants.
Most of their time was spent maintaining a controllable level of parties and crowds; nothing really got out of hand.
15 people were taken to jail on various charges, but police say they were ready to deal with any situation that arose.
