New possibilities are underway for the US-31 shoreline in Acme, displayed for community input.
Acme township in Grand Traverse County is looking to make changes that will bring more people to the area.
Tonight they hosted an open house to show residents what they're working on and to get their input on the plans.
This is what the planning commission hopes is in store for the future of the US-31 shoreline corridor.
The concept is called Acme Shores; it's still years off, but the emphasis is on walk-ability and to define the village center.
Residents filled out a comment card at tonight's meeting with their thoughts and opinions on the newest draft of the plans.
Those suggestions will now be considered in the next version of the plan.
