If you've ever thought about volunteering but just didn't know when to start, how about tomorrow? United Way is hosting their "Day of Caring". While the United Way of Northwest Michigan will be out in our region. The day is a nationwide effort to get more people involved. There will be everything from cleaning up our beaches to helping with other area non-profits.
The United Way says it isn't just about one day of helping out, but sometimes that's all it takes to become a lifetime volunteer.
If you're interested in taking part in Traverse City's "Day of Caring", you can go to the Open Space tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.
