Cheboygan Public Safety Looking For Robbery Suspect

UPDATE: The Cheboygan Department of Public Safety is still looking for a suspect who robbed a gas station.

Police say the suspect entered the Holiday Gas Station in Cheboygan just before 1:00 in the morning and left less than 30 seconds later.

The suspect jumped over the counter and stole a small amount of cash before fleeing from the scene.

Officials told 9&10 News the clerk was in a supply room at the time of the robbery and only caught a glimpse of the man when he was exiting the door.

He is described as 5 foot 8 inches tall, medium build, wearing a tan jacket with a black hoodie underneath and the hood was up. He was also wearing blue jeans, light colored shoes and a mask.

No weapons were displayed at the gas station.

Tracking dogs followed the path of travel to the south but lost it at the parking lot that adjoins Main Street.
