Feedback at 5:00- Do You Buy Organic Foods?

Many consumers choose organic foods because they think they are healthier to eat.

But new research in Annals of Internal Medicine shows when it comes to nutrition, there's no difference between organic and regular foods.

Dieticians say there generally the same amount of vitamins, and nutrients, regardless of the types of fruits or vegetables you buy.

Researchers looked at unprocessed foods like fruits, vegetables, grains, milk, eggs, chicken, pork and meat.

They did find that eating organic fruits and vegetables reduced exposure to pesticide residue 30 %, but levels were also within safe limits in non-organic foods.

It typically costs more for organic foods and products.
