Small Fire Sparks Investigation at Comfort Inn in Cadillac

Firefighters in Cadillac responded to a fire alarm at the Comfort Inn on South Mitchell Street Saturday morning.

When they arrived shortly before two a.m., they found a fire inside a small area had already been contained and put out by the sprinkler system.

The Wexford County Fire Investigation Team is considering this suspicious since the room was under construction and was empty at the time.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to contact the Cadillac Fire Department at 231-775-3491.
