Crews have recovered the body of a teen from a Leelanau County lake.
Deputies say the 16 year old from Lake Leelanau was swimming with a friend in Lake Michigan near Leland Harbor yesterday when they were swept out by a strong rip current.
The friend tried to help, but the current was too strong.
The Coast Guard, dive team and other first responders had been searching to find the teen.
