Highway Traffic Picking Up With Holiday Travelers

It's only Thursday on Labor Day weekend but the tourist are already making their way north for the long, holiday weekend.

Travelers from all over are spreading across Northern Michigan to take advantage of the unofficial last weekend of summer.

Unlike the weather forecast, prices at the pump don't seem to be cooperating with the travel festivities.

But for most travelers the lure of a relaxing Northern Michigan weekend is worth the extra pain in the wallet.

9&10's Eric Lloyd and photojournalist Jacob Johnson stopped a few travelers to find out where they are headed and have more details.
