Everywhere you look...trailers, tents, and luggage. It sure looks like Labor Day weekend in Traverse City. The three-day weekend is upon us, and the results are in, it's going to be a good one.
At Holiday Park Campground, their numbers show how great this summer's been; they're up 15-20% over last year.
So what's the reason behind all of these campers coming up north? Well, many campgrounds tell us it's because it's the last weekend before kids go back to school, and it signifies the unofficial end of summer; but, with the booming amount of visitors so far, campgrounds and hotels don't see any end in sight.
