George Lombard is 81 years old, he's been riding with the Cherry Capital Cycling Club for years, one of his favorite rides is on Old Mission Peninsula. Lombard already knew how beautiful the ride is, but Bicycling Magazine made it official, they call it the best in the state. The magazine notes the loop around vineyards and cherry orchards, and 360 degree views.
Lombard rides with about 40 other cyclists in the club. The group says cyclists come to ride Old Mission from California, and Arizona. The view, and the challenging course draws them here.
Lombard knows this won't be his last ride, and for many others, it's now a must-see.
