Leelanau County Commission on Aging Losing Another Staff Member

More fallout from an overpayment problem plaguing one Northern Michigan county.

We just learned about another Leelanau County Commission on Aging employee was put on leave.

Housekeepers for the "Commission on Aging" in Suttons Bay are entitled to money for the miles they drive.

But, the County Administrator says they have been tacking on extra miles.

In the first 5 months of this year, it added up to $5,500 and the county says it's been going on for years.

Now, the County Administrator says Madonna Jackson, an Administrative Assistant, is also on leave after further investigation.

The future of her job will be determined this week.

The Commission's Director, Rosie Steffens, was recently put on leave, then retired.
