Floral Filler Surprising Invasive Species

When you pick out a flower arrangement for that special someone you'll typically find baby's breath inside.

This white, popular flower is most commonly used as "floral filler" and has been a mainstay at flower shops for nearly 40 years.

Asian Carp and Zebra Mussels are at the top of most lists when people think of invasive species, but Baby's Breath is on there too.

Recently Governor Snyder announced he plans on stepping up Michigan's fight against invasive species, which are not naturally found in Michigan but make their way here and thrive.
