Ludington Mourns Loss of Two Fishermen

Posted: Updated:

The community of Ludington is mourning the loss of the two fishermen who lost their lives on Lake Michigan.

The owner of a local marina says Ray Finholm has been pitching in since he bought the place in 1970. He took care of the fish ponds and taught local kids about fishing.

We found Ray's truck sitting in the spot he left it. Someone put up a sign to show their respect.

The marina owner says Ray was an excellent fisherman who caught more Bluegill than anyone he has ever met.

William Sorokin of Plains, Pennsylvania also died on the lake.

9 and 10's Kyle Mitchell and photojournalist Jeff Blevins have more from Ludington.
