Suspects Who Broke into Nearly 30 Cars, Now in Jail

For the past month and a half, police say thieves broke into nearly 30 cars.

The crimes all happened near the village of Baldwin in Lake County.

This week, deputies arrested a downstate man, Miles Havlik and a juvenile from Detroit.

Police say they stole all sorts of things from vehicles in the area, cell phones, iPods, and even wallets.

The sheriff is reassuring the community that this won't be happening anymore and that they plan on arresting a couple of other juveniles who are connected to the crime by the end of this week.
