Police in Cadillac are trying to figure out if there is any connection between an overnight break-in at a car dealership and other similar crimes across northern Michigan.
Workers at Don's Auto Clinic found seven new vehicles broken into on the lot when they arrived at work Tuesday morning.
The thieves stole six high-end radios but removed nothing from the seventh car. The total value of what was taken is around $12,000.
Dealerships in other cities have recently reported radios stolen in a similar way.
The dealership thinks the break-ins happened between 10:00 P.M. Monday night and 8:00 A.M. Tuesday morning. They hope someone might have seen something strange and will call Cadillac Police.
