Friends and family remember a Cadillac native killed in the line of duty. Kris Eggle worked as a Park Ranger at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument in Arizona.
Ten-years-ago he was killed by a member of a Mexican Drug Cartel illegally crossing the boarder.
August 9th is always a hard day for the Eggle family. This year, on the 10th anniversary of Kris' death they decided to get friends and family together to celebrate the life of a man who is loved and missed by so many.
Kris graduated valedictorian from Cadillac High School before attending the University of Michigan where he ran cross country.
Family says he died doing what he loved serving as a Park Ranger.
