David Walls is the Senior Minister at First Congregational Church in Traverse City. Little Zeke Goodwin holds a special place in his heart, Zeke's father is also a Pastor there. When Walls heard the news of the accident, he went to the hospital to be with the family.
Zeke enjoyed riding horses, and being at the fair. Today, the stall where his horse was is now empty. Many proceeds from today's livestock auction will go to the Goodwin's.
Birthday balloons mark the spot where the accident happened. Zeke would have turned 7 years old, tomorrow.
A funeral service for Zeke Goodwin will be this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church in Traverse City.
