A fire destroyed five businesses and a small church at an Isabella County shopping center.
Fire investigators do not know what ignited the flames but everyone was able to get out okay.
It happened around 4:30p.m. Tuesday afternoon on South Mission Street in Mount Pleasant.
The owners of the Hunan House say the fire started in the kitchen. Firefighters says the flames quickly spread to the businesses next door, which include a barbershop, cell phone store, and a tobacco store.
The fire chief says the flames spread so fast because the ceiling was connected and there was nothing to slow down the flames.
