Feedback at Five: Manhattan Project National Parks?

Posted: Updated:

67 Years ago today, the U.S. dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan.

Japan surrendered, ending WWII.

Now, there's a plan to mark the history of that devastating weapon, by turning the Manhattan Project sites into a National Park.

There would be strict rules to get in.

Visitors would have to be a U.S. citizen, and cameras and cell phones are off limits.

Do you think these sites should become historic parks?

Would you go to one of them?

Let us know what you think.
