Perfect Timing for New Medical School in Northern Michigan

A brand new medical school in Northern Michigan and it couldn't have come at a better time.
Doctors say the need for health care providers across the U.S., especially in rural areas, is growing. Right now, there are not enough physicians to meet that demand.
Hoping to counter the doctor dilemma, Central Michigan University will begin offering courses in a new college of medicine starting in August 2013.
9&10's Evan Dean and photojournalist Jake Johnson stopped by the college as prospective students toured the new facility. He explains why it might result in more doctors in Northern Michigan.
