Witness Helps Alpena Police Catch Two Break-in Suspects

An eye witness helped police in Alpena catch two suspects accused of breaking into a local business.

The break-in at Clems Bait & Tackle happened around 4:00 a.m.  this morning.

Based on a description from the witness, police found the suspects in a nearby park.

One of them tried to run, and police had to use a taser. Both are lodged in the Alpena County jail, charged with breaking and entering and MIP.
