Wexford County Civic Center Open at Least One More Hockey Season

Posted: Updated:

The Wexford County Civic Center, or "Wex", will be open for at least one more hockey season.

The county board just signed a contract with an out of state company to manage the ice arena.

This, after the previous manager chose to terminate his contract.

The county administrator says the new deal will continue past this year, if voters renew a recreational millage to ensure funding in the future.
