Feedback at 5:00- Bush Era Tax Cuts

Republicans in the House of Representatives pushed through a bill to extend all of the Bush Era Tax Cuts, they say that's the fairest solution.

But, President Obama has promised to veto the bill if it reaches his desk.

He wants to let cuts for the wealthiest American's expire in order to pay down the nation's debt.

The Democratic Senate passed a bill that excludes higher earning Americans from keeping the tax cut.

Families making more than $250,000 would not get an extension.

The cuts are set to expire at the end of the year.
