Tree Services Still Cleaning Up in Newaygo County

The storm hit Monday night and still dozens of trees lay on homes as tree crews hustle to clear the dangers.

Witnesses believe winds reached 100 MPH at certain points.

One of the hardest hit areas was near Brooks Lake just east of Newaygo.

Tree services have spread throughout the area using chainsaws, wood chippers and cranes to clear the damage.

Beaver tree service began receiving calls at 1:30 in the morning yesterday and have barely rested since.
