Traverse City Police Arrest Woman After Hit and Run Accident

The Traverse City Police Department arrested a female driver after she caused a 3 car collision and fled the scene.

The hit and run occurred at the intersection of 8th Street and Rose Street.

The suspect was driving northbound on Rose Street and failed to stop for the red light at 8th Street.

City Police responded to a call to the intersection at 4:00pm yesterday.

Witnesses described the vehicle as a tan Ford van with extensive damage.

The van was located parked on Prospect Street and the suspect was found at a nearby residence.
