Harlem Globetrotters Kick Off Northern Michigan Tour

On a typical July day there is plenty of traffic on the Straits of Mackinac.

Ferries carrying tourists, fishing charters, barges of cargo for Mackinac Island ... And today a freighter full of the world's best ball handlers.

The world famous Harlem Globetrotters travel to dozens of counties every year, today they left the mainland again ... This time en route to Mackinac Island.

Kids from around Northern Michigan joined the team this morning aboard the Sacre Le Bleu which transformed into the perfect stage for beautiful views, and incredible skill.

9&10's Kalin Franks and photojournalist Eric Davis spent the morning sailing the straits with these world famous athletes.
