He spearheaded the restoration of the State Theater in Traverse City, now Michael Moore is doing the same in Manistee.
Moore was in Manistee on Friday to rally donations for the restoration of the historic Vogue Theater. The goal is to finish phase one, the completion of the first of two theaters.
Moore says the restoration of the Vogue Theater will do for Downtown Manistee what the State Theater has done for Downtown Traverse City.
Friday he announced the goal of re-opening the Vogue Theater by Christmas.
