Michigan State Police were called to the 300 block of Eastland Drive on Hogback Lake in Rose Lake Township for a possible drowning.

They say a 22-month-old boy was being watched by two 14-year-old babysitters before the boy made his way to the lake.

One of the babysitters found the boy in 3 feet of water and then a neighbor came and did CPR.

The child was then transported to Spectrum Health Reed City Hospital and then Aeromed to Devos Children's Hospital where he is currently in critical condition.
