Feedback at 5:00-NCAA Penalizes Penn State University for Scandal

Posted: Updated:

Today the NCAA handed down several sanctions on Penn State University's football program, including a $60 million fine, a bowl ban for four years and it stripped 13 years worth of wins.

It's just the latest penalty stemming from the Jerry Sandusky child sexual abuse scandal.

He's now in jail, convicted on more than 40 counts of child sexual abuse, and several PSU administrators await trial on other charges.

Also over the weekend Penn State removed the statue of former coach Joe Paterno, who was complicit in a cover-up of Sandusky's actions according to the report by former FBI director Louis Freeh.

Considering all of this, are you satisfied justice has been served?
