Deputies say he was hit by a car on west Edgerton Road in Howard City.
A man who told deputies he was driving through the area and saw the man lying in the road and asked his father to call 911.
But at the scene, deputies say that passerby, a 24 year old from Howard City, was arrested for driving drunk and say there is evidence that man's car may have been involved in the crash.
