10:00 am UPDATE: Police say 22 people were at University of Colorado Hospital, including a 4-month-old for gunshot and shrapnel wounds. The number of injured has been lowered from 50 to at least 38. At least 6 local Denver hospitals are treating victims, the age range is a 4-month-old baby to 45 years old.

Twelve dead in a shooting at a midnight showing of "The Dark Night Rises."
FBI have identified the shooting suspect as 24-year-old James Holmes.
Police say the shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. as the gunman stood at the front of the theater. Witnesses say he set off some sort of gas before starting to shoot.
Holmes is in custody and police believe that person was the lone gunman.
Police say they found a gas mask, rifle, handgun and at least one other weapon inside the theater.
