Cycling Cross Country for Leader Dogs for the Blind

Mark Mansell is biking cross country to raise money for Leader Dogs for the Blind.  One Leader Dog costs around $40,000 for someone who is visually impaired.

Mark began his quest in Portland, Oregon on June 16th.  He hopes to finish his 3,500 mile journey in Portland, Maine on August 5th.

Wednesday, he made a few stops in Northern Michigan calling it a night in Clare County.  That's where 9&10's Ann Marie LaFlamme and photojournalist Joel Deaner met up with him to talk about his journey.
