Two Accused of Double Murder Face Judge Today

Two people accused of double murder in Scottville back in January faced a judge again today.

Patrick Bentley and Lashawn Whipple are accused of killing Fernando Ramirez and Lacey Bentley, Patrick's sister.

Today, both were in district court for a preliminary examination.

Bentley was bound over to circuit court on all 5 initial charges, including 2 for open murder.

Whipple was bound over on 4 of the same charges, one for attempted arson was dropped.

They'll be back in court next month.
