Posted: Updated:

We now have an update on a story we've been following all week.

Police found the man charged with killing 2 sisters in Michigan dead this morning.

Thomas Fritz was accused of killing his ex-girlfriend Amy Merrill and her pregnant sister Lisa Gritzmaker in Blissfield last Friday.

Police tracked Thomas Fritz to a cabin outside Sistersville, Virginia based on a tip last night.

They say Fritz was alive when they closed in on the property.

The mother of the 2 sisters is still recovering from being shot last Friday as well.
